I need help w/ my eye make-up.?

My eyes are folded down,(I'm Asian) so my eye makeup looks wierd except for my eyeliner. I have a horrible time with mascara. Any ideas? No mean answers please.I need help w/ my eye make-up.?
just line your lower lid with eyeliner, then use whatever color shadow on the top lid....the easiest way to do mascara it to tilt your head up, but look at the mirror straight with your eyes (so your eyes are kinda looking down) then get the mascara wand and hold vertically...this is sometimes easier to manage then holding it horizontally (how you would typically use it) slowly cover lashes...if you get any around your eyes, just use a q-tip and a little makeup remover or spit (sounds gross, but if its urs, who cares) and wipe it away. good luck!I need help w/ my eye make-up.?
well, i know that my asian friends have the same problem. i dont have any tips for applying eyeshadow, but how about not wearing any. girls like you have BEAUTIFUL eyes!! you all are so pretty without the eyeshadow. you dont need eyeshadow to bring attention to your eyes.
you can use dark color, it helps a lot to make your eyes looks bigger, and you're doing the right thing with the eyeliner
well for shadow apply it a little above were your line will go and try a mini-brush mascara
yea just experment with ur makeup till u think it looks good but then ur probablly pretty w/o makeup
i was reading a magazine....and it said to put like you know a darker shade where the crease is supposed to be...im not sure if you know what i mean but many girls do it. but if u really need help you should go to MAC or CLINIQUE at macys where they can do ur make up so they can teach u how to do it.

mabey you need to get some black mascara and eather black eye liner or dark blue but not that dark with light blue eye shadow or any other colors you like it dosent have to be blue. But always have black mascara. Need any more help contact me at Daphne_wilhite@yahoo.com
Maybe some shadow in shades of brown will look good just along the top lashes.

You should also try a liquid eyeliner (black) on your top lid sweeping it just beyond the lashes.

And for mascara, I know that maybelline sells some with a mini brush. Its called lash discovery if you havent tried it yet.

hope I could help :]
If you are right handed take your wand in it and with your left hand (or visa versa) put your fingers on your eye lid. Gentle pull up and when you can see your lashes in the mirror straight up, apply mascara. If you find that too difficult then try a plastic spoon. Cover your eyelid with it and your lashes will stand up so you can apply mascara. Tips I got from make up artist.
well put the eye shadow on the bottom of you eye and thats it your still pretty no matter how you look
First, use a light neutral color shadow from the fold up to your eyebrow, like a frosty white or blush.

On the fold right above your eye, use the same light color. From the far corner to the pupil, use a contrasting shadow (brown, grey, etc.) in the area of the crease, and blend it up and out to brow to create the illusion of a bigger eye.

Only put liner from the outside of your eye to the center. That will help create the illusion of eyelashes. Over the eyeliner, use a darker complimentary shadow starting at the outside of the eye and tapering as you go towards the inside corner.

Next, take your index fingers and place them under your lower eyelids, and draw them up and away from your eyes above the cheekbones. This will soften the shadow under the eye and create a defined eye shape and more illusion of lashes.
asian eyes look cool i have a friend who has them and you shoudl just put teh eye color on teh bottom of teh eye not the top so that it doesnt look funny an dwhen you blionk they see it i did that for a while i thought i looked funny with it but i didnt it turns out! so get a couple of opions and if they r that you look funny then out it on teh bottom half and do lie a lil shimmer on top!
Use a gentle ';white'; eyeliner on your top lid as a eyeliner. Then apply any eyeshadow, lavendars and purples are best for this time of year, under the bottom lashes and just a little touch of color under your eye brow. Play! It all washes off. Take a day and experiment. The white eyeliner (which I've seen Asians use) brings out the top lid more and your mascara/eyelashes can be seen better!

And like I said, play!

Your lavendar and purple shadows do NOT have to match your outfit now a days! So Play, experiment a little! You'll get the right affect after trying different things.

Mascara needs to be applied at least twice, I always suggest three times. The first time, just add a tiny bit to the base of your lashes. Let that dry a few minutes. Then apply a second coat of mascara covering your entire lash, let that dry. Finally add a third coat to the tips of your lashes only. Use a toothpick (CAREFULLY!) to separate lashes that may have stuck together. Also use the tips of your mascara brush to apply mascara, do not try and use the ';brush'; but use the end to do each lash. After you have done this a few dozen times it won't take you so long to put on your mascara. But the hint is, use the end of the brush to apply mascara NOT the entire brush, you don't have the same control, if you apply mascara attacking each lash individually with the tip will do it I promise!
Don't wear any your beautiful just the way you are.

Asian eyes are beautiful. I'm not quite sure what you mean by your having trouble with your mascara. Is it b/c your eyelashes don't curl up?

Try an eyelash curler.

Or, expand your question, please.
I've seen some Asian girls with eyes like yours and they only apply eye shadow to the lids of their eyes. You can only see it with their eyes closed but it looks pretty and it adds a little color. Try doing that without mascara or you could try clear mascara.

If you can't come up with anything you like at home, go to a department store and have one of the cosmetic consultants help you.

Good luck
Because you want your eyes to look wider and fuller, add a medium/darker color on your eye lid (the part closer to your ear). put a white/sand/light pink color at the tear drop area to the middle of your eye lid. Also add that light color to the arch of your eye. this will make your eyes look huge.

Next, when you add eye liner, add it to the outer half of your eye (on the top), and to the bottom, put the liner on the outer forth. I know it sound silly, but it really makes your eyes pop.

Try having a girls night out (slumber party) and put make-up on each other to see what looks best.

Also, go to marykay.com or avon.com and see their suggestions.

Good luck
i have a firiend whohas the same probleme so she justuses a little bit on her upper lid likemaybe a thick line thats alland u should curl curl ur eye lashes then u might be able to apply eye shadow
