Eye make-up help for everyday wear!!?

I need some help and advise on what to use and how to do everyday eye makeup. I look a lot like lindsay lohan so i try to take inspiration from how she does her eye makeup for everyday, but i always end up looking like im going to a party or like it comes out too bland... I want to use mascara and eye liner and maybe a bit of eye shadow (but not too much!). Could you post up some could pictures of eyemakeup styles for everyday wear? Bearing in mind i wouldnt want it too over the top but I want my eyes to stand out and look sultry.

Many thanks..xEye make-up help for everyday wear!!?
I used to wear eyeshadow everyday, but now save it for going out scenarios...it makes it feel more special and dressy.

I just wear my base of foundation. Eye pencil on the upper lid, flicked out slightly on the outer edge and some mascara. Looks really natural xEye make-up help for everyday wear!!?
well for my everyday makeup look i use revlon cream eye shadows in copper crayon....

^ i know thats a very small picture. but i use the white color which is the second one on the pallet. it a good white base ( it doesnt come out too white tho) and it adds a little shimmer. it loooks very nice.

then for the mascara i would use a black color. i use almay.

for eyeliner.. i would just take a black eye pencil and just do a thin line on the bottom and top of ur eyelids. you dont want to put too much on because then ur makeup will look over done.

(optional) - whatever color shirt ur wearing take that color in an eyeshadow u have and just add a little to ur upper eye. thats what i do sometimes and it looks nice.

i really hope this helps you. :)

Eye make up advice? (pics)?

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf鈥?/a> (I look sleepy in this pic)

when I put make up under my eyes it looks weird (well I don;t know how to probably or the make up is wrong)

I just wanna ask for advice what should I do?? any creams? or any make up ideas??

If you steep two bags of green tea then put it on a plate or something and let it cool down in the fridge then place the tea bags on your closed eyes for 10 minutes they should go away. Make sure the tea is caffeinated. I have dark circles under my eyes too and it helps a lot.Eye make up advice? (pics)?
Try a concealer with Gold/yellow undertones. These colors counteract bluish greys and purples, which is exactly what you want to cover up.

Or, you can use a mousse foundation. Dream Matte Mousse is great, as it has a nice thickness and coverage, which covers imperfections and blemishes. Or you can use some spare foundation - although use one that is your skin tone, or lighter as you don't want to darken the circles!

Oh, and as a quick remedy, take a table spoon and put it in the freezer until cold. Then take it out, and place on the lid, and your eyes will look really fresh!
Use concealer !

Any cream concealer will work. Just warm it up with a spatula, or over your clean hand, till it has a very smoothy texture, and apply little by little under your eye. Always blend.

use your foundation as regular and when you get to the undereye rea, stipple DO NOT spread cause you will rub off the concealer. Powder LIGHTLY, so it won't get cakey.

thinner the eyeliner on the inner side of your eye (closer to your nose). Thicken more to the outer side (closer to your ear). Do this both up and bottom, this will stretch your eyes out and make them look more open.

Good luck, girl !
for under-eye shadows, opt for a creamy stick concealer or a liquid one, as dry foundations will emphasize fine lines around your eyes. if you're blending with your fingertips, use your ring finger, as this is the weakest finger on your hand and less likely to drag at the delicate skin around your eyes,
try using a concealer with a bit of an orangey tint to it... orange cancels out blue in dark undereyes... apply the concealer with your ring finger and lightly dust it with a translucent powder to set it. i think the cateye look would be really cute on you... use black liquid liner and wing it out a bit at the end.

hope this helps you :)
Search Michelle Phan's concealer basics video. It really helped me a lot. Before, the concealer I put under my eyes was really cakey.

Also, nothing beats a good night of sleep!
there are some great videos on youtube. I think this girl is great and she has your same kind of look.http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=iwanted2c1video%26amp;view=videos
you can use concealer

and theres this garnier eye stick that you roll on in the morning and it has caffiene to lift your eye bumps and lighten your dark circles
Use a concealer that is one to two shades lighter then your natual skin tone. I do this and it works like a charm. Good luck :)
make-up with a yellow tint will help dark under eyes.
I think that dark look with the thick eyeliner and stuff will look good on you. Or silver liquid eyeliner?
for dark under eye circles, i like very light concealers or mainly, brighteners. The 2 products i use the most and every day are either YSL's touche eclat and Benefit's ';ooh la lift';. I use both on my undereye and over my eye lid as a base as well as a concealer. the one by benefit has some seaweed extract to help de-puff the bags under your eyes and feels sooo nice. i would avoid putting any eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes or using really powerdy eye shadow to avoid ';fallout'; and making your circles look worse!

[[eye]] make up choices?

i really need some help finding some good eye makeup colors. i like pink eye shades but i heard that they drown out the eye color for brown. i also like defined black liners and black mascara. i am not goth tho.

i am half white and half asian so my skin is pretty tan. my hair is dark dark brown and my eyes are dark brown as well. my hair is also pretty long if that has anything to do with the kind of makeup color i should use [[lol]] if you put some web links that would be great but i would really like it if you just put the tips in your answer so i dont have to go looking at every site. thanks much xD[[eye]] make up choices?
Hi Rachel,

I've got brown eyes too, here is what I have found - violets and plums, and browns and tan colors also compliment brown eyes well.

I love i-mark eye shadows from mark. They have a real deep purple color called Plum Velvet that is really popular. Also, biscotti which is a light beige, that is perfect for everyone. The best part is you can experiment and have fun, because they are really affordable. They are $4 each and you can purchase the snap to it pallette in various sizes to hold the eyeshadows.

Oh and as far as eyeliners, mark. has got these great liquid liners that come in various colors. My new favorite is the Metalliner hookup in Bronze Edge.

You can check them out at:

I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes and I try to stick to berry colors. The purples and reds really make my eyes pop. Lately I have been experimenting with peaches, but overall purple has always provided the best results.

Good luck!
I have been using an eyeliner lately that is an eggplant color. You might want to try that.
Asians mostly use DARK BROWN or BLACK so that eye looks cute

I know you didn't ask, but I do have some tips for your hair. Your face is gorgeous, and your hair really isn't doing anything for it. You should trim 2-3 inches off of it and get it more layered.

If you have bags in the morning, splash your face with super cold water.

Also, to get rid of the bags, once a week put potato peelings under your eyes. Sounds stupid, but just do it for 5-10 minutes 3 times a week, and you will get great results. It's the starch that does the magic.Eye make-up ideas? asap!!?
use a mouse type foundation.

for example, mac has this new holiday collection and its called warm eyeshadow set.

(ill have pic)

get an angle brush

take the dark brown and put it on your lower eyeline. (with the angle brush)

then go over it with the blueish brown.

now take a blending brush and use the gold to put in the inside of your eye

take the shading brush and use the gold, light brown, and the peachy beige and put it all over ur eye.

now take an eyeshadow sponge and take the red and dark brown and put it on ur lower lid.

now use a basic mascara.

maybe use a blush =)
I find if you glue on some eyelashes

(not long, just fuller look)

it ends up creating the look of thin black on the top of your eye

it makes it look like youre wearing eyeliner creativly ontop.

even though you arent.

best thing i've ever done.
First thing is get some mascara to darken up your eyelashes. You could also put a bit of black/dark brown eyeliner right above your lash line, on your eyelid. Start the eyeliner thinner at the inner part of the eye and end with a little bit thicker line at the outer part of your eye. A little bit of brown eyeshadow just on the eyelid crease will help too, but don't over do it.

Find some Physician's Formula cover-up at most drugstores. They make a green (yes green!) coverup that works really well on fair skin to cover up circles under the eye and other blemishes.

And you should try to keep your hair from hanging so near your eyes--that definitely keeps your eyes from popping!
For eyeshadow, you need to use colours that are opposite blue on the colour wheel. I have very similar coloured eyes and complexion, and I use a lot of oranges, bronzes, browns and golds. Sometimes you can blend a tiny bit of blue in with some browns to really pop out the colour. Both Loreal and Almay have special eyeshadow trios with the browns and blues for blue eyes.

I like to use orange on the outside and a shimmery gold on the inside for a bright, fun look. No eyeliner, plenty of mascara on upper and lower lashes.

Also, always use the darkest colour on the outside and the lightest colour on the inside. Blend blend blend! you shouldn't be able to see where one colour ends and another begins.

Use a white eyeliner pencil underneath your eyebrows to lift them.

Use only brown eyeliner, black would be far too harsh. Just use it on the outside corners, don't line your eyes too much, it can make them look small.

Use black, thickening mascara to finish.

Use a light pink blush, and then run a tiny bit of bronzer along your cheekbones to define your face.

Most importantly: play around! Experiment! That's how I learnt!

Eye make-up colours? Which pallete?

Basically, I want this style eye make-up:

And I have found out that supposedly, they use ';CHANEL : LES 4 OMBRES';

But, I can't work out which colour set it is?!

I'm guessing either Mystic Eyes, Dunes, Variations, Demure or Winter Nights...

So, looking for opinions. Which ones could it be or definitely not be?

Thanks xEye make-up colours? Which pallete?
Sequoia?

Possibly.

Not winter nights tho...

You could try going to a boots store, and asking one of their make-up specialists, and show them the picturs that you have shown us!Eye make-up colours? Which pallete?
That looks really nice! Im guessing that they use all four as most of the time a palette like that has similar colours in different shades for different parts of the eyes to make it look good. And in this case it blacks, whites and greys.

they would use all four.

heres a pic to show the different shades-

http://th05.deviantart.com/fs23/300W/i/2鈥?/a>

As you can see, the middle tones are on the base of eyelid, then the darkest on the crease and lightest on the brow bone.

I know the pic isnt the same colours but i hope that gives you an idea of what to do!

xox
I think I would pick the Demure. Have you checked out Coastal Scents? I think that's what I'm going to buy, they're mineral makeups with really strong pigments and they're so cheap!

I always watch this girl's tutorials and I like what she does with them. It's worth a look:

Its not always Chanel, try looking at other brands, the same colours are everywhere. Personally i love Dior, their eyeshadow stays put all day long.
i have that Chanel one its lush you just need to know how 2 apply it though other then that its a great eye shadow
Try going to http://www.coastalscents.com they do an AMAZING 88 shimmer palette which is so awesome! Also its pretty cheap

First put a charcoal color eyeliner underneath my eye. Next take a cotton swap and smudge it. Then do the same to the top lash line. Finish off with 2 or 3 coats of mascara. You can put a color that stands out like black or dark blue on the eyelid. You can also put dark blue or black eyeshadow on the inner corner of the eye.

best of luck! (:
First you should consider what colorings will work for your. Starting with foundation, if you have oily skin use and oil free foundation. Finish off wiht a sheer layer of translucent powder to keep your face shine-free. If you have blue eye try brown shadows with an accent blue shade. For green eyes try sahdes of plum with an accent green shade. For brown eyes choose shade of purple and brown. For lips use a gloss! It's more natural and plumps the lips.
well, you definetly started on the right website, your first two pictures are from Kevyn Aucoin's website, they are probably the best instructions you will ever get for smokey eyes, he was one of the best hollywood makeup artists I have ever seen. He does have 3 books out, I would reccomend getting your hands on them, they give alot of basic (and some not so basic for once you get the hang of things) makeup tips, especially for finding the right colors for you,and different things to do for your face shape, and for the look you want.
I know this isn't exactly what you are asking for, but try this: use white eyeliner!! That's right, white eyeliner! Just apply it to the skin above your bottom lashes. This makes your eyes pop and look bigger!!! Try it, it really works! This is also a good tip for when you look and feel tired, just apply the liner and no one will ever know you missed those couple hours of sleep!
