Every one says I have the prettiest eyes there different there violet. and I have strawberry blonde hair, and freckles which I love them there so cute on me even though most 16 year olds do like that. I just ware mascarra eyeshadow and eye liner I dont like foundation or blush because I have no pimples to cover up, But to bring out my eyes a little more what color should I use. I have brownish eyeshadow, charcole line, and black mascara. How can I mix it up?Eye make up?
i think that if you used a shimmery green eyeliner, that would really make your eyes pop. black masacara is my fav. but brown is good too, which ever look you like better, for a softer look use brown. btw, that's so cool that you have purplish eyes!!Eye make up?
with your hair color and freckles i would wear green eyeshadow maybe with some sparkles in it. but definitely wear eye liner and mascara. stay with black it will keep the focus on your eyes.
definitly go GREEN! itd look great on you!!
With strawberry blonde hair, a taupe or green/gray shadow would look great. I would go for a medium brown eyeliner, nothing too dark and a brown/black mascara. Just play them up a bit but don't let the makeup be the only thing they notice--show off those beautiful eyes!
personally i think you will look good in a brownish glittery eye liner. a gold eyeshadow would look amazing. black mascara i think would still look good. enjoy!
You can use grey. That is awesome with violet eye color. Just careful to use on a little. Less is more. You may want to apply with a brush and tap off excess first. Brown and grey are perfect for your eyes/ haircolor.
wear BLACK EYELINER that will make your eyes really outstanding..!!
Use greys and plums
If i were you I'd use your mascara eyeliner and try and get some light blue eyeshadow. I think that it would bring out your eyes.

Do a light brown eye shadow, black mascara, brown eye liner, and a little light green eye shadow lightly mixed with the brown! It's naturish but it's cute!!! And curl your eye lashes.Eye make-up help! howwww?
do the eyeliner wing effect. search on youtube for tutorials how-to and practice makes everything perfect.
and when you put on mascara, make your lashes go outward, and not up, but more toward your eye corner. that makes your eyes look smaller and personally i've done that today and received lot of comments on my eyes :)
mascara: Cover-Girl Lash Blast. [Very Black]
eyeliner: (either one of them, they are really good eyeliners for everyday use)
- Maybelline Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. [Black]
- Wet n Wild H2O Proof Felt-tip Liquid Eyeliner. [Black]

A bit of eyeliner and lots of mascara helps a lot. Also, curl your eyelashes. It really makes a difference

Eye make up question?
What shades should I use for my eyes?
I am red headed at the momentEye make up question?
It really depends on the clothes you are wearing and the occasion . I think golden eye colour would look loud on red hair.Light shades of brown or pink would look good.Eye make up question?
Try a light smoky eye (look online for instructions) with a deep reddish brown eyeshadow and brown liner, then apply brown mascara. Then go light on other makeup to balance it out. Try a cream-colored or gold gloss and peach colored blush.
Also, go crazy with green, but make sure it isn't a grey-green. Try earthy greens of all brightnesses.
Golden browns and champagnes, dark plums, eggplants and golden evergreens. They will make your green eyes pop, the golden hues will bring out the golden tones in your eyes and will go well with your skin and hair.
u have lond eye lashes but they are thin so use mascaraw for sure. and eyes liner. use it outside as well as inside the eye. btw u have beautiful eyes.
You should check out some makeup videos on youtube, they're really cool. I think you could go with a bronze/brown shade.
light green or golden brown eyeshadow and black eye liner is good.
grays look good with any eye color and hair. maybe even browns or subtle purples.
i have your eyecolor, except more green, and i use purple tones, my hair is dark brown with a bit of red too
brown eye liner, and gold or natural looking shades of eyeshadow
Green, Brown, Gold Silver :)
Would bring out the colour in both your eyes AND hair x
A soft green color.

Eye make-up question...?
Hey,
I need some more eye make-up ideas for going out in the evening... I usually go for the smokey eye look but I need something more summery. My eyes are blue and I'm quite fair with light brown hairEye make-up question...?
this is what i do:
- Apply all foundation, cream etc and leave eye makeup until last.
- Apply a dark grey eyeliner and get a sharp black eyeliner and put a small line fading into the dark grey in the inner corner.
- Next, get your light grey eyeshadow (Use barry m, the numbers i use are below) and brush it gently over the lid
- Get a grey and brush it 3 quarter way across the lid from the inner corner
- Get a dark grey -maybe black but be careful because dark colours can ruin everything (: (I use dark dark grey)
brush it on about just under half way over the lid from the inner corner.
- Curl eyelash for 30 seconds and apply mascara (do not stop at 7 coats, keep going make them really stand, i use Maybelline New York Colossal, it is amazing, but if you add a tiny drop of water into any sort of mascara and shake it well it will make your eyelashes longer when you apply it, it actually works, i heard someone on the bus onabout it haha x
- Curl your other eyelash and apply mascara.
- I keep applying mascara until i go out but only when i want my eyes to really stand out.
here are the colours i use:
Black Eyeliner: http://www.barrym.com/products/product.a鈥?/a> (KP1)
Grey Liner: http://www.barrym.com/products/product.a鈥?/a> (KP26)
Light grey eyeshadow: http://www.barrym.com/products/product.a鈥?/a> (DD10, Grey)
Grey eyeshadow: http://www.barrym.com/products/product.a鈥?/a> (DD91, silvery Black)
Dark Eyeshadow: http://www.barrym.com/products/product.a鈥?/a>
(DD11, Charcoal)
Like i said the i use colossal maybeline mascara and just some cheap eyelash curlers.
hope i have helped ;)
wen you have done this to the pale grey go over with a dust of pink and maybe add pink/yellow (?) eyeliner in the corners tooEye make-up question...?
i have blue eyes and brown hair as well... i like putting a cream or tan slightly shimmery (lol) color all over the lid and then a deep chocolate color in the crease. then put a little dusting of a white shimmer under your brow and in the corner of the eye (near your nose). the shadow i like to use for this is a mabelline set called designer chocolates or something like that. it is one pack with four colors: a cream, white, dark brown and a pinkish/purple color. :)
Try a green eye shadow/liner - my eyes are grey and change from blue - green depending on what clothes/make up I wear. I have started wearing a light green eye shadow with a darker green eye liner as it makes my eyes a sparkling blue colour. Green also works well on brunettes so definately an idea to try.
during the summer you could have a light color or any color..depending on what you wear you could change the color. like if your wearing a jean skirt with a purple blouse you can have a light lavender eye with mascara and light pink lip stick..thats what i do. but do what you want with your make up, mix and match.
hope it helps :D
wear brown eye makeup. Its supposed to bring out blue eyes. And like kindof make like a smokey eye but in brown eyemakeup. Just dont bring the eye shadow all the way up to ur brow like you would do in a snokey eye.
HOPE I HELPED!! ^_^
I LOVE the barry m eye shadows as they really stand out and they come in many different shades :) go on to the link :) x
Try some of the Urban decay stuff.
I love the light pink in ';grifter';
Then i use some mascara %26amp; a little bit of eye liner!
Use spicy look.Like use some pink and white and light brown.go all kinds of colors.Use i light color under your eye..
used earth colors
like browns with yellows
if not pinks

Eye make-up Ideas??
I have brown, average sized eyes and I want some eyeshadow/eye make-up ideas in semi-neutral tones, like no neon or anything! I would also appreciate pictures and/or websites that show your suggestion. Thanks so much!Eye make-up Ideas??
contact a consultant in your area and they will do a make-over for free. Or go to a make=up counter in the mall.
Go to the MaryKaye, Avon and Beauticontrol sites and they have pictures and make-up tips there.
I find brown and peach shadows look great on brown eyes.
Try a peach or beige shade of shadow on the entire eye. Then go back with a brown and line the top lid to the center and in the crease of your eyelid. Make something like a sideways v in the outer corner. Line the lower lid with a small amount of the dark brown. Get a soft smokey black or brown eyeliner pencil and line the upper lid and lower lid as close to the eyelashes as possible. Almost as if you are drawing a line in the lashes. The line should be thicker on the outer part of the eye than the inner part.
Go back and smudge it a bit with your finger tip. Touch up the outer corners.
Then apply your blush and then lightly blush the eyelid in the center to blend the shadow so it's smokey and soft looking.
Good luck!
beautipage.com/sacevedoEye make-up Ideas??
I recently looked through an Avon mag for some new make-up, and they had a page of what looks best for your eye color. Apparently, brown looks the best with browns and light pinks. The model's eyes were plain brown, but the colors looked very pretty when applied correctly. They recommended using a black eyeliner and a black mascara for brown eyes, also.
if you have brown eyes try blue/green eye shadows (they highlight the brown/hazel)
use brown eye-liner instead of black
put a light tan/white right under your eye brow to make your eyes look bigger
there are some good greens out there that are a little more neutral, dark but not too dark
Good Luck!
you should definetly where charcoal eyeliner it will look hott! trust me!
Put the lightest shade of the eyeshadow on the inner corners of your lids, then put the medium shade in the center %26amp; the darkest on the outside. You can use browns, beiges, golds, bronzes(yes! golds%26amp; bronzes are in the neutral family!),grays %26amp; silver shades.
I would try some different brown colors, outlining with a chocolate color. If you'd like something more dramtic add gold tones in. www.maccosmetics.com has a section called Looks which shows off some good ideas. Also their eyeshadow works really well and is long lasting.
Here are some great sites to help with applying make-up (BTW, the first link is my personal favorite). =)

as far as colors, neutrals look fab on everyone. get a good chocolate brown, a soft peach and even a black. us the black or the brown as a liner for a charcoal look, then get a fluff brish (the tip about the side of the last section of your little finger) and heres how to do it--- take the dry brush and gently put the tip to the shadow and make about 3 teeny circles. blow the excess off of both the brush and the shadow. (one quick puff should do it for both). aim the brush directly at your closed eye, and put it just inside the outer arch of your bone. do circles like you did with the power and draw it in toward your bridge a couple of times. this defines your eyes and gives them depth and allure. use a skinny sponge shadow applicator to do the liner. accent your brow bone with the peach or an irridescant cream. email me for pics if i didnt make sense
pale shadows and dramatic lashes!
glitter is also good
but dont overline them or they will be drowned out!

Eye Make-Up Ideas- PleAse HelP??!!?
I need some ideas for my eye make up. I want to try something new, but not to bold. I want something kinda simple but cute and doesn't take me forever to do. I have green eyes and olive skin tone, any ideas?Eye Make-Up Ideas- PleAse HelP??!!?
my sister has green eyes and she is always using color. turquise, smoky greys, diff greens and light rose colors. she adds eyeliner (liquid) above her eyes. when it comes to make up you should not be afraid to experiment at home!Eye Make-Up Ideas- PleAse HelP??!!?
try looking for things specifically for green eyed people. Also purple looks good on almost all people, it just depends on the shade. If you have any further problems, ask person who specializes in eye makeup
a little eyeliner along ur bottom lashes.. but not too much! and some light-ish eye shadow.. and some mascara. this should only take like 2 min :)
you could try olive green eye shadow and black or brown cat eye eyeliner

Eye make up (colorwheel)?
brown eyes :) whats the opposite of brown in the colorwheel? i dont know what colors of eyeshadows to use be it natural, smokey, etc. what shades are nice for me for smokey eyes too? :) thanks :)Eye make up (colorwheel)?
Right now darker colors are what's in style, no not the navy blue eyeshadow from the 80's!!! I'm not sure about the color wheel, but one sure fire way to see what colors look best on you with your skin tone and eye color is to go to a boutique and let them do a makeover, then they will recommend what's what for ya! The malls have those set up in stores like Macy's and Bealls. Anyway, have fun with makeup. Remember, if you like it then no one else's opinion really matters.!!!Eye make up (colorwheel)?
Salespeople don't necessarily know what looks good on a person, they're trying to sell whatever they have.
It is, however, amusing that the answer you picked as the ';best'; was the only one that didn't really answer your question. Report Abuse
check out my website.. we have a virtual makeover section and its pretty cool. you upload a pic and you can play with all the diff things like, eye colors, blush lipstick... and even hairstyles and hair color.. It might give you some ideas! : )

if u want that smokey look use dark browns or blacks, if u have blonnd hair you sould probably just go with brown, it works well for me maybe it will for you too =]
Almay has those color coordinated things
Purple works really well for me
But I'm Asian so my skin tone might be different than yours.
And yeah, black is usually the only color you'd use for smoky
But you can experiment with a combination of eyeliner (liquid/pencil/powder) and eyeshadow to make it look smoky.

Unfortunately I'm unsure of the opposite on the colorwheel, however, I think I know where you're going with this - you want something to make your eye ';pop';. Brown eyed girls have some really lovely options for this. My favorites are sapphire blue, teal, plums and greens. For a natural look you could do a shimmery champagne and various shades of brown.
The great thing about smoky eyes is that you're not limited to greys and blacks - try one of the colors I've listed above, you can do stunning smoky effect with plums or blues - the color options are endless. I think the trick to playing with colors is to stick to things that aren't too frosty - that can look dated.
Here's a great tutorial on doing a smoky eye:
http://raquel13.com/makeup/tutorials/
(click on ';smoky eye'; to the left)
I've been pushing this site a lot today, but all of the tutorials are amazing.
Also, there are some great and inexpensive brands of eyeshadow available for experimenting - two I would recommend are Wet N Wild (not kidding - great quality) and Milani (Milani is also great for colored eyeliners) - that way you can experiment without hurting your wallet too much. You can find both of those at Walgreens (if you have it) and I have seen Milani in target recently.
Have fun with it! Hope this helps.
Almay has the best eyeshadow kits now. They come already coordinated for different eye colors. I have brown eyes, so I buy the one made for brown eyes. I was, and am still amazed at how it makes my eyes stand out, and brightens them up. You can do it different for day, and also for night. There's eyeliner and mascara that goes with it too, but I like my black eyeliner and black mascara instead. You can find it at Target or Wal-Mart, or Walgreens. But if you don't go that route, shades of purple look awesome! Also bronzes, and peachy colors for highlighter.

Eye make-up suggestions?
I'm going to a party then camping so I want something that will still look hot smudged, I'm blonde and pale but up for any colours or styles, I was thinking smokey eye but it's a bit plain, what do you suggest?Eye make-up suggestions?
You could take a medium brown eyeshadow and put it lightly on your eyes and then black liquid eyeliner on top or gold eyeshadow suits blondes. You could check out youtube for make ideas and tips!Eye make-up suggestions?
1, use MAC makeup, it's created for situations similar to yours. And go for a smokey eye with a range of deep tonal colors. Dark eyes always look good for a long time. With pastel colors and gold palettes, you'd have to re-apply to keep up the shimmer, unless your using paint pigment colors, again, from MAC. Use like a gunmetal grey, with matte black and like a pop of Navy blue to really give a new edge over your lids. play with smokey eyes, there is so much dark colors, its magical.
use golds, they would be brilliant on your skin. also wear eyeliner, and mascara.fast loan

Eye Make Up Colors?
Okay, so my best friend is having a make up crisis. What are the best eye make up colors for dark hair, brown eyes and an olive/ Eastern European complexion? How should she wear the colors (ie. liner, on the lid etc..)?
ThanksEye Make Up Colors?
purple, green, ecru eye shadows on the lid and black liner on top and bottom
Look at pictures of the makeup of other Eastern european women people and see what techniques they use~
good luckEye Make Up Colors?
For brown eyes, plum and purple eyeshadows are best. You can do a light shade of purple on the eyelid, and top it off with a darker color at the crease. Don't use any browns or dark greens, it'll make your eyes too harsh. You can also try pinks, oranges, and golds. I don't recommend black eyeliner, a dark coffee brown should do the trick. However, only apply on the top lip and remember to smudge it a little to blend. A finishing veil should be applied after you've done this. It allows for your makeup to stay on, like the eyeliner. If not, it will smudge and you get a raccoon look.
Black Liquid Eyeliner- Make a discreet but sexy cat eye(upper lid)
Pretty much any eyeshadows will work, try and match it with whatever outfit she's wearing
And to finish off a little lipgloss!
:)
well i think that a
- black eye liner applied to upper and bottom
eye
-a brown color or like a very dark-ish purple like midnightt
for your eye shadow would look rlly pretty
also maybe somee mascarra

Eye make up question...?
so i usually put eyeliner on my bottom lid right on the lash line, not below, none at the top (bc i can't seem to get it close enought to my lash line) and mascara. but i want my eyes to have a darker, more outlined look. how can i do this? smudging, where to put eyeliner, etc. thanks!Eye make up question...?
Good question. 1st of all, get a really dark automatic eyeliner by NYC Makeup. A great one is Basic Black. It's sexy and the deepest black there is in this kind. Now to apply - instead of putting in neatly just on the bottom, try going a little bit lower. Push down hard (not hard so it hurts) and rub it in a lot. Dont go over the top like, a goth look. That will just look trashy. To smudge, rub the eyeliner lightly with your finger. This kind of eyeliner will help you put the lines on smoothly, and still look great. For more info go to the website listed..
i hope i helped =]Eye make up question...?
i would say invest in a gel eyeliner (i suggest mac fluidline in blacktrack) and invest in a good eyeliner brush (they come in various sizes and such but the best one is the mac # 231 brush to apply it) and hold the eye taught with the free hand not doing the lining and that way it tightens the skin on the eyelid so it makes for a smoother surface. the brush will allow you to get really close to the lash line, and take tiny strokes at first. when you get to the end of lid in the outer v, take the brush and wing it upwards to the width of your choice. just remember if you make it thicker, you make your eyeliner that width as well. you do not want it too thick though, or it will end up looking really funny.
pencil smudges a lot easier, especially throughout the the day, and gel eyeliner gives you better control than pencil, is easy to use, and gives you precise lines like liquid. and it's a whole hell of a lot easier to use than liquid liner!
just remember practice makes perfect, and it is all about trial and error!
but if you still want to use pencil eyeliner, just make sure you have a pretty good point on it :)
i hope this helps!
Maybelline and other companies make an eye shadow that is on a stick with a soft pointy end. It really works well. Just bought the black and blue.
get a blackish/brownish eye liner and try to put it on neatly. also put eye liner on the top and then smudge it on the lid and it should be all smokey looking
i find it easier to put on eyeliner if you gently pull at the outer corner of your eye, it sort of stretches out your lid so your can apply it better. make sure your pencil is sharp. then line as close as you can to the outline of your eye. if you can't, to smudge your eyeliner with a q-tip. you also may want to add a shadow in a similar color over that to keep your color even.
if you dont put eyeliner on the top, you can always use eyeshadow as a substitute. to get a catlike look, use the eyeliner pencil and draw a flick at the outer corner of your eye.
you can also use mascara to make your lashes look thicker.

Eye make up help?
i need help i dont know how to make an evening look,i have a wedding to go to, and i wonna look hot, but icant do the evening look, i tried and it came out looking bad.. please any advice!Eye make up help?
I am a make-up artist and I do not work for MAC but highly recommend all of their products and I can not stress enough, natural hair bristle brushes are a must for all make-up application. Also, do your eye make-up first with a bare face...you will probably have a small amount of spillage underneath your eye that will be difficult to clean up if you have all your other make-up on already.
If you are wanting a smoky eye, which is most commonly referred to as an ';evening'; look, here are the steps....
1. Use a very small amount of cream base on each eyelid . It will make the colors you use more intense and has significant staying power. Do not use too much. You are just creating a surface for the eye color to ';stick to';. (';Pearl'; is a great color, it's an off-white.)
2. Apply a neutral color, that is very close to or slightly lighter than your actual lid color, on the upper lid, under the brow bone, stopping at the crease. (';Shroom'; is great for this)
3. Next, pick a dark color that will compliment what you are wearing. It does not have to be black or gray, you can do a gorgeous smoky eye with a deep purple or green. (If you want something that looks great with everything, try ';Club';)
4. Place the color on the lid, building to the intensity you want, and stopping at the crease. Do not worry about being very neat at the crease because you will blend it later.
5. Use black eye liner (';Engraved';) along the top lash line ON TOP of the color and then line lower lash line and bottom inner lid.
6. Using a flat brush, take the dark lid color and gently place it on top of the black eyeliner all along the upper and lower lash line. Your eye should now have a ring of color along the entire lash line. Extend it out a little at the corners and do not worry about getting it perfect.
*Do not expect to look good just yet!*
7. Now, take a neutral medium brown shade (';Wedge'; is perfect) and with a small round brush, place a small amount of this color in the crease. You are creating a diffused line of demarcation where the light color and dark color meet. Blend well and as you are blending, sweep the brush just above the crease if you have deep set eyes. Blending is the key to ';smoking out'; the colors.
8. This will look like ';too much'; until you get the rest of your make-up on. Very carefully, bring your concealer and/or foundation to the lower line of color under the eye. Sometimes you can use this to correct an imbalance, otherwise, do not cover the color up, just gently blend.
9. When you finish with the rest of your make-up, take a look at your eyes. Check for balance and symmetry in form and intensity and then you may want to touch up the eye liner a little and darken it in the corners. Then curl your lashes and apply your mascara last.
10. A dramatic eye is best balanced with a nude lip. You might want to try ';Stripdown'; lip liner and ';C-Thru'; lip gloss for the perfect compliment to this eye look. It will be very close to Kim Kardashian's signature look.
Note: Always be open to adding more color or blending more until you get the look you want.
Hope this helps!Eye make up help?
Instead of using eyeliner on top of your eyelids, apply under the lashes. It does sound painful but if you're careful, you'll be able to do it and it'll result in an evening look without looking too strong. If you want a smoky eye effect, brush on gray eyeshadow on your lower lid and blend it with a bit of black. If you want a warmer look, coffee colored makeup works best.
i think dark makeup looks better for the evening. just use a tint of black at the corner of your eyes to make them stand out and have thin line of eyeliner with lots of mascara top and bottom. as for the wedding try someting light but attracting maybe a light pink going darker as you go towards the end of you eyes and have some glossy lips with a tint of bronzer/ blush on your cheeks.
dark makeup in the evening, medium or light in the day. I use liquid eyeliner, because it's easier to adjust the thickness of the line, but it came out crappy this morning because I woke up late and was in a rush....
you should go to youtube.com and type in eye makeup... youd be surprised at how many tutorials are there...they even tell you what products to use and sometimes even where to et them. im sure this will be of great help to you! good luck dn enjoy!!
go to macy's or something with a make up department. say your interested in some kind of make-up. they'll put it on you for free. and ask if they could teach you.
try a light Grey with white on top it is real easy just put Grey on the lid and then take a glitter white and where the gray ends on t he lid put there all the way to your eye brow sounds bad but is really pretty
expert right here, Use light pink all over just underthe brow bone , black below that , use finger to apply evenly, use black liner top and bottom

The good thing about brown eyes and makeup is we can basically do any color. The only thing you want to think of is your skin tone. If you have a cooler undertone or warmer undertone. Cool tone people can still have brown eyes so think of the colors that suit you best in clothes and go from there underneath is an outline.
Warm colors are based on yellows, oranges, browns, yellowish greens, orangish reds, and the like.
Cool colors are based on blues, greens, pinks, purples, blue-greens, magentas, and blue-based reds.
Warm: Eyes are typically brown, green or hazel. Haircolor typically brown, black, red, auburn, blonde or strawberry blonde. Skin has yellow/orange or olive undertones. Warm-toned people look best in earthy-toned clothing, such as browns, yellows, oranges, yellowish green and ecru. Look best in gold jewelry. In natural light, the color of the veins on the underside of your wrist are greenish. You are most flattered by an off-white, cream or ecru shirt (i.e. pure white makes you look washed out)
Cool: Eyes are typically blue or grey. Haircolor typically blonde, brown or black. Skin has definite blue and pinkish undertones. Cool-toned people look best in colors such as blue, red, pink and purple, or ';gem-tones';. Usually look best in silver jewelry. In natural light, the color of the veins on the underside of your wrist are bluish. You can wear a white shirt and it is flattering on you.
Neutral: Eyes may be any color. Hair may be any color. Skin has unspecifiable undertones, such as pink, olive or yellow. Those with neutral coloring can wear just about any color clothing and look good. Can wear gold or silver jewelry (no preference as to which looks better)
line the inside of your eyes and inside of your lower lash line wit white eyeliner
light purple eyeshadow: very classy and pretty on all eyes.
orange-ish: looks great on dark skin.
pink: clashes with brown
white: pretty and casual.
What shape are your eyes? That depends on whether or not you should really use a lot of eye liner or you could do with out.
As for the color, Physicians Formula just can out with a palate of eye shadows (depending on eye colors). It has three different combinations. I picked one up and I think it is fabulous. Good luck
With dark eyes like yours, don't go with anything dark. Unless, its night. It will make the area around your eye dark looking. Try a little color. Not too much. On 10 years younger. Thats a TV show. They said too NEVER match your eyeshadow with your shirt. It looks tacky. Try something suttle, a little darkness like brown or even a plum color would look good in the creases. You can either use eyeliner in black or brown. Line a little on the bottom and top. Go to seventeen.com .
They have great advice. They also have a thing where you can upload a pic of your self and do make up on your self. It doesnt look that bad either.
you could try those gold eyes shadows it works for me
i also have dark brown/black eyes and honestly, it doesnt take much to get them to stick out.
for a casual look, i like a skin tone color on the inside corners of the eye, and then blending into an earth tone such as dark green or gray.
as far as general colors, dark blues, purples, and as i said above, grays and greens.
i always suggest starting small and then blending colors and going for a more dramatic effect towards the outer corner of the eye.
just remember to use earth tones and have fun. you'll find what techniques suit you by experimenting
I have brown to black eyes with NO eye lids, What I did was:
I went to a Mac makeup counter or any makeup counter and had them fix me up with different colors that match my look and they had show me different techniques that i can do at home. At the end, I notice that it all depends on the brash you used for your eyes and what look your going for.
all Makeup artist would say its all about the brash

Eye make-up techniques?
Always put the lightest shade on first all the way up to the brows. Next the middle shade, going a little past the crease. Third, ( if you want a dramatic look or you could skip this step for daytime) put on the darkest color just on the lid. Use a cream liner ( one you have to apply with a brush - gives the most natural look or you could apply more heavily for night) and apply to top and bottom lids. Curl your eyelashes ( very important to have eyes that look like they are wide awake) and add mascara.Eye make-up techniques?

Eye make up help......?
i have a interview tomorrow what can i do my eye make up like? i have blue eyes and long black hair with a side fringeEye make up help......?
Neutral tones are always best for job interviews. They make you look polished and professional. Use a soft gray shadow, line with brown, and apply mascara. Do not overdo it! Good luck at your interview!Eye make up help......?
well there are lots of ideas that are pretty and the makeup doesnt cost that much.. just go to www.eyeslipsface.com then at the top right, click on where it says Get The Look and you just click on whatever eye makeup you like and if you dont like any, click next and a bunch more pop out.. it tells you which makeup to buy and step by step instructions on how to put it on. The makeup it tells you to buy is like super cheap. most of it is for a dollar but it looks amazing!!
You could try black eyeliner.. don't use too much they might get the wrong impression. Maybe some black eye shadow (but light)
Don't use any brown... it would look bad.
I think you should use black eye shadow on your eyelid and then light blue.. or any shade that matches your eye above the black.
Well.. it sort of also depends what kind of interview you have.
Hope I helped :)
i think this looks really pretty and professional :)

well i would say that you should wear brow eye shadow with black or silver eyeliner i do it all the time you should look great!!!!!!!!!
keep it simple too much eye makeup can make you look unprofessional

Eye make-up remover?
which is the best NON-OILY or GREASY eye make-up remover?Eye make-up remover?
Clinique oil-free. It comes in a blue bottle with a green top. It works great for me. There's no oily or greasy feeling, you just rise your eyes when you're done. A cheaper alternative is Loreal oil-free. It comes in a blue bottle too, and you can find it at Rite-aid.Eye make-up remover?
l'oreal de maq make up remover. Is like milk but feels like toner
i use pampers baby wipes, it might sound a bit strange but it does work and is also a lot cheaper than some make up remover.xx
almay makeup remover pads.. they've worked the best for me...
L'oreal De-maq elixir is excellent. If you are using a waterproof mascara, you will need an 'oily' one. De-maq also has a good eye+lip make-up remover.
Nivea do a good non greasy make up remover that works well, it's about 拢3.00 or so from chemists and supermarkets. I personally have found tesco vitamin E wipes to be great at removing make up and are non greasy they also leave my skin feeling really soft and are only 99p.
Use neutrogena. It's pretty good and it's non-oily.
clinique make-up remove it is very gentle on eyes.
Oil of Olay are great, its moisturising too so it cares for your eyes, but it is not greasy at all, it even removes waterproof makeup.
soap and water.
and dont use water proof mascara.
Body Shop. Sensitive eye make remover with chamomile.
It's not so good on waterproof mascara though.
Chanel's. But it is pricey. The next best one is Pond's Bare %26amp; Repair; costs about $5.00 at the drugstore. Not quite as good, but it does well.
How about using baby wet wipes.
almay. but make sure it's the oil free kind, or else it'll be really oily and gross
Neutrogena Oil-Free Eyemake Remover is the best I've found. It takes off waterproof mascara easily. I love the product. It costs about $7.00.
the non oily non greasy eye make up remover brand make up remover
Johnson's sensitive baby wipes, They are fab for make up remover
'Simple' eye make up remover is great. Its the only thing i've found that effortlessly removes makeup without irritating my eyes. Strangely enough i even used to use baby lotion and that irritated my eyes more than simple! x
there are a couple that I use both by Olay. One is a cream that is specifically for eye make. the other is there make up removed wash. It's has blue ';bits'; in it that disolve make up. I think that the wash off one is better as it gets rid of ALL traces of make up including thick mascara! No panda eyes in the morning! I use it every day.
lotion
Try milk.
Its brilliant!!
top care pore cleanser it works soo good its from pimples and it takes off your make up
i use almay for contact lens wearers
neutrogena
mary kay
I use Almay Non-Oily eye makeup remover pads. Is the best.
johnsons eye make-up remover pads

garnier make-up remover liquid

To take foundation off use a cleansing milk
like
Garnier cleansing milk (this is very good)!
Hi just an normal baby wipe is as good as anything, but I find it I rub a bit too much my eye sting and get blotches around them so if I have the time, I use Lush Baby Face Cleaner its an all round make up remover but I can only use it on my eyes as it blocks my skin on my cheeks but leave my eyes in really good condition and doesnt sting or anything. Its in a little round block and all you do is wet a bit of cotton wool and wipe over it, you might think you didnt get any on the cotton wool but trust me its on there, and then just go over your eyes and apply as much as you want to get the remaining make up off. The rinse with water. or a cotton wool ball with just water on.
I love it for an eye make up remover and not a facial one. Its not greasy at all or oily.

Eye make-up..?
I used to always do black eyeliner and then some color of eyeshadow. But I want to know whats the correct way to put on eyeliner, and what colors look best, and how to smudge your make-up and eyeliner together on your upper eyelids.. Everytime I do, I make a huge mess of my make-up. I'm really not stupid when it comes to make-up, but you probably know alot more about it than me.Eye make-up..?
The colors depend on your eye color, my fav. is purpleish lavander colors. they look great with every eye color. for the eyeliner eyeshadow blending thing, use like black powder (or what ever color eyeshadow) and apply it as eyeliner with a tiny brush and if you do it dry, and get a good brush you can just easily do it with the brush. Put both colors on the eyeliner brush and work it out, its pretty easy. at the end of your eyes, when applying eyeliner, NEVER go down, thats the big thing! always go up, if you go down your eyes look droopy and ickey. if you want to look nice and awake do LITTLE ';wings'; at the ends of your eyes. make sure they are even tho, go from thinner near your tear duckies to thicker near the other end. thats all i know.Eye make-up..?
you should watch What Not To Wear on TLC channel ...Carmmindy the make-up lady always has good make-up tips.
ooh...were you a goth
no offence
here is an awesome site. it has videos of girls showing the correct way to do eyeliner.

Eye make-up help!?
I have pale skin, the type that gets freckles in the summer, strawberr blond hair, and blue eyes. what is the best make up for my eyes, and please be specific, colors, tips to apply( i.e. inside or outside the lashline) and how much. I need HELP!Eye make-up help!?
Okay, so here's how you do it.
Durring the day, you should try going for a lighter, natural look, believe it or not, guys usually find it UNATTRACTIVE to cake on make up. guys like to see a side of girls that are beautiful, and natural, so show off your beauty!
For your face make up--- if you have clear or near clear skin, dont wear any face make up!!!! if your that lucky, then appriciate your skin, however, if your like me, and 99% of the rest of the world, your skin is NOT perfect, so use a concealer, or liquid foundation on your really bad spots, then cover your WHOLE FACE in a light powder foundation! it makes your skin look flawless like those perfect girls your see in the magazines[im so jelous! haha]. besure to even cover your eyelids, and under your chin with the powder!
Blush/Bronzer-- Okay, so cheek bones are like the sexiest part of makeup! i personally love to use a bronzer as my blush. if you have a nice blush brush, please, USE IT! okay, so here is how you apply your blush, put a light layer on the plump apple of your cheeks[example: smile, and where ever your cheeks rise up, apply a small, LIGHT amount there] make circluar motions with your brush to blend a little. then, you want to accent your cheek bones, so run the brush along the indent of your cheek bones [example: make a kissy face, and follow the crease all the way to your hair line!!!!!!!!!]
your lookin beautiful all ready!!
For eyeshadows, i say accent your eye color! There are 3 different colors that you should be useing, and light beige, your eye color[example: green, brown, blue, grey] and a lighter version of that eye color [light green, light blu, etc.]
eyeshadows--- first, cover your entire eyelid with the light beige. Now, use your light eyecolor, to cover the lower 2/3rds of your eyelid. that means from where your the top of your nose ends, down. lastly, you take your dark eyecolor, and create a crease where your eyelid folds. [ex: squint your eyes to that they are neatly closed, put your eyeshadow brush on the outside corner of your eyelid, and follow the crease inwards, the color should fade as you get closer to the inside corner of your eyelid! be sure to blend if needed!
Eyeliner: apply only if needed. and make sure that the outside corners of your eyes always have more eyeliner that anywere else, smear the eyeshadow to create a smokey look, GUYS LOVE THAT!
Mascara: use as black as black gets, and apply as normal. dont allow clumps, they look shitty. hahha
lips--- if you can handle brown tinted lipstick, then go for it! but otherwise, a dull gloss of shimmer is elegant! dont use that slobbery looking ****. i used to when i was younger, and it looks stupid. you need to find a gloss that looks somewhat natural, if you can use your lips as a mirror, then you know that there is too much gloss to it!!
And there you go! you look like a freakin model! happy makeovers!Eye make-up help!?
GREEEN
would look so good
would bring out your eyes
go for a light shade of green all over the lid of the eye
then get a darker (not really dark) green and blend from the end of your eyelid with the darker
basically you will have light green going to a darkker green across the eye
also green eyeliner on your waterline would look great
hope this helped =]
maybe a pretty light blue eyeliner on top of Ur lashes, with a light pretty white shimmer for eyeshadow, then right underneath ur eyebrows brush some white eyeshadow..

Eye Make-Up help? Please help
what kind of eye make up could i use for my hazel eyes? I want to make them beautiful and noticeable yet subtle..any suggestions appriciated =]Eye Make-Up help? Please help
for hazel eyes, neutrals and olives are absolutely perfect.
for your day time look, try a light, shimmery gold in your tear drops and across the brow bone. This will brighten them and look amazing!
also add a little mascara and that's all you need.
If you want to play it up alittle for evening, like a party or going out stick with the same shimmer, but add some liner to the bottom INNER eye lid. You may want to take a dark olive eye shadow and put it on the outside corner of your eyes. That looks so great! only go about halfway or a little less than that across the lid with the liner. going all the way across will make them look smaller. Stick with the mascara, but maybe add another coat.Eye Make-Up help? Please help
black eyeliner....ummmm either brown or green eyeshadow!! but dnt shade in all ur eyelid usin onlii one color!!!!
use a brush.
take the lighter tone and brush it all over ur eye lid and a little under ur eyes as well.
then take the darker color and put it on the crease, like where the top of your eyeball is, on your eyelid. only put the dark color there.
it opens up your eyes some more.
Well your hair color matters too...
I have hazel eyes and brown hair, and i love brown and light pinks for my eyeshadow
I believe your hair color matters a bit more then eyecolor
get a shade that goes well with your hair color and just try it out =]]
i line the bottom of my eyes with black eyeliner. then i use MAC black eye shadow and a smudging brush to brush some on under my eye and above my eye lashes ! then finish it off with covergirl lash blast mascara
it makes my eyes pop!
:D
Try using purples, greens, gold and pink! they make your eye color pop out alot. And make your eyelashes big w/ volume. That way your hazel eyes will look beautiful :]
good luck!
For hazel eyes the best color to make them stand out is a dark navy blue eyeliner, but only a little bit right next to the lash line.
I hope I helped a little =D
eyeshadow: tawny pink, dusty violet, gray-blue and navy
eyeliner: black or brown
mascara: brown or black
try a deep plumb eyeliner or a shimmery bronze.. they really will make your eyes pop

Eye Make Up . Please Help ? Please & Thank You.?
How can I keep my eyeshadow on longer? %26amp; my eyeliner to keep from smudging?Eye Make Up . Please Help ? Please %26amp; Thank You.?
to keep eyeshadow on longer, you have three options:
1. use a primer (found at places like sephora and ulta)
2. put concealer all over the lid (is used as a primer if you can't find a makeup store in your area)
3. apply a jumbo stick eye pencil/crayon thats the same color as the eyeshadow you are going to apply. If you put the jumbo pencil on first and then apply your eyeshadow, the color will pop more and stay on longer.
As for eyeliner, liquid eyeliner is your best bet. It's not nearly as difficult to apply as people make it seem. And liquid eyeliner NEVER smudges. I live by it. Eye Make Up . Please Help ? Please %26amp; Thank You.?
Eyeshadow stays on all day doesn't it?
I don't know a whole lot about eyeliner but try putting only a thin coat of it on as close to your eyes as possible.
Hope this helps.
To make eyeshadow last, put some vaseline on your eyelids first. (Just a littlbe bit.)
To keep eyeliner from smudging, take an eyeliner brush, and dust a little bit of translucent powder over where you're going to apply, then apply pencil or liquid eyeliner on top.
If you are putting eyeliner on your waterline, then just get a really good kohl eyeliner pencil.
To keep your eyeliner from smudging make sure you get smudge AND water proof eyeliner.
Apply it right on your bottom lash line so that the lashes kinda keep it in tact. Just keep playing around with it! :) youll find ways that work best for you
put your eyeshadow on in coats light color first then darker shades then blend or reverse it it stays on all day for me and i dont use cheap products that helps too. liquid eyeliner is always best
keeping eyeshadow on longer you can use a good primer like urban decay primer potion....i use liquid foundation or conceler works fine!! i do it all the time and i work 10 hours and it lasts all day....eyeliner from smudging put eyeshadow over it :Dfast loan

Eye make up?
I have dark brown eyes, and I wear a lot of eyeliner and mascara- black.
I was wondering what would be some good colors to use for my eyes, and where to put it on?
I just want to update my make up, especially since summer's coming up, and I want a change.Eye make up?
i think a dark gold, not so black, just dark to compliment your hair and skin. if you have gold undertones to your skin then gold is the way to go. If you have pink undertones to your skin then like a dark mahogany, maroon color would be good if you like black. I personall love almay and mac eyeshadows. Mac has a good dark color called Sassy 208. its a duo eyeshadow. It comes with a gold color and a slightly teal color. good luck!Eye make up?
I have dark brown eyes too and i use an orangey brown color for eyeshadow and i like to have big lashes so maybe that could work for you too.
any kind of green or purple or blue goes great with brown eyes
For a night out or going to dinner or something, a smoky eye
for during the day, something light and springy, like pink or purple, but not too dark,
Also, I use Revlon Color Stay 12 Hour Eye Shadow, it has 4 different colors for different parts of your eyes and the package tells you where to put each color
you can find many ideas at maybeline.com lots of summer tips

For summer, go a little lighter on the eyeliner. Try using a plum shade instead of black. Also try using shimmery eyeshadow in golds, browns, purples. Just apply the eyeshadow near your lash line and don't put it higher than your creases.
I am same as you with dark brown eyes and recently had a make over. On my eyes they used a shimmery creamy white colour all over the lid and up to the eyebrow. Then just on the lid a medium shimmery brown and then in the contore and in the corners a dark brown. It looks really good and makes my eyes look bigger. Also they put a white eyeliner pencil on the inside of my lower lashes. Then black eyeliner but only on the outer edge of the eye then black mascara. Sorry to go on but its hard to explain lol.
Hope this helps.
plum liner [or shadow, but not both] goes great with dark brown eyes!
eye shadow can be plum orr turquoise- pretty
I was wondering what would be some good colors to use for my eyes, and where to put it on?

Natural Eye make up?
any tips and pictures for natural eye makeup, like sleek eyeliner and mascara?Natural Eye make up?
use a light mascara on the bottom, and go a little bit heavier on the top lashes
dont put eyeliner on your eyelids
put a shimmery bronze color eyeshadow under your eyes
and put a little bit of brown eyeliner on, if you wantNatural Eye make up?
-If you dont feel like wearing eye make up (like me sometimes) apply a little vasoline to your eyelashes, It looks natural and makes your eyelashes longer.
-Also brown eyeliner is good for a natural look as black can look to heavy during the day.
-I have dark brown eyes and golden eyeshadow tones look subtle and natural on brown eyes.
-By applying eyeliner to the outter coners of the eyes makes them look bigger (this is also good if you have close together or deep set eyes, it is also more natural for day make up)
- Also applying a line of liquid eye liner above the eye with some mascara looks natural whilst emphaising (sp?!) your eyes. example%26gt; http://naturalenhancementclinic.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/images/eyeliner_Full.12185449_std.jpg

Asian eye make-up?
Does anyone have any advice for applying eye make-up on Asian eyes? The only thing is that my eyelids aren't just ';flat,'; they're kind of ';hooded'; and/or droopy.Asian eye make-up?
you should wear a highlighting suttle shimmer color all over your lid (ie. bobbi brown bone shimmer or champagne) a slightly pink hue on your lower lid (ie. bobbi borwn rose gold or mac expensive pink) bringing it up slightly over the 'fold' but making sure it's not a distinct line and that it is well blended. then line with a water resistant gel eye liner in black or dark brown (e. bobbi brown gel liner in black or espresso- make sure to get the ultra fine eyeliner brush) and follow with a water resistant mascara in jet black only on the upper lashes. also it really helps open your eyes if you curl your lashes. i like the shesido lash curler because it was designed for asian eyes. best wishes!Asian eye make-up?
brown or purple.
hey! i'm asian-american and am truly proud of it! (:
anyway, back to the topic...
curl your lashes and load on the mascara. that truly opens up your eyes and kind of hold up your droopy eye-lids.

Smokey eye make up?
Hi there,
I am wanting to produce a smokey eye effect on myself but, not to sound daft, I do not want it way over the top jordan/jodie marsh style.
Does anyone know step by step instructions on how to produce a ''toned down'' smokey eye effect?
I have a slight lazy eye when tired, but apart from that they are pretty normal size and long... my eye colour is a odd bluey green with a hint of yellow!
Thanks in advance xSmokey eye make up?
1. start with a shimmering silver from lashline to brow bone
2. apply a grayish blue color from lashline to crease
3. apply a charcoal/navy colored eyeshadow from lashline to just below the crease
4. apply just a little more of that color from the end of your lashes on the outside corner and blend up into the crease.
5. take the same shimmering silver from before and apply a very thin layer over the entire lid again to give you a sparkle.
6. then apply a black long lasting eyeliner on the top and bottom lashlines.
7. then apply two or three coats of non clumping volumizing black mascara, lashblast from covergirl is good.
8.finish off with a light shimmering pale pink on your lips and the same type of color but in blush form on your cheeks and you are done :)
good luck i hope this helps :) here is a picture of what i was thinking of in my head when i gave you these steps.Smokey eye make up?
Ok, stay away from black, use silvers and greys. Start with a pale grey colour and use it all over your eyelid, taking it up to just above the crease. Then get a darker grey and, starting at the outer corners, blend it inwards smudging it into the crease. Get a black kohl pencil and draw around your upper and lower lashlines and then smudge it for a softer effect. Finish with two coats of mascara and there you go. Also have a look at www.makeupadviceforum.co.uk/messageboard for more makeup tips.
um , start with these.... first apply some beige eye shadow then start applying some smokey eyeshadow from the corner of the eye lid and then slightly smudge it down to a thinner line NEVER EVER EVER APPLY SMOKEY EYESHDAOW ON THE EYEBROW AREA that would make you look like a .... belive me never touch taht part with a dark eyeshadow... then apply some liquid liner starting from the inside of the eye with a thin and ending with a litte thick side then add some mascara curl the lashes then use a peach coloured lipstick and lipgloss and your finito (thats finished lol)

she has a couple of videos on smokey eyes.
and one of them is toned down.
if i were you, i'd just put on a light grey eyeshadow ,
then blend it all over the lid.
then put on a little bit of black or dark grey eyeliner.
then two coats of mascara.
hope this helps xx

I need a good tip for wearing bold yet enchantingly beautiful eye make up. it needs to bold yet natural look?
go for the ';smoky eye';...black liner and some pretty eyeshadow, go for the colors that would look best with your eyecolor. and mascara of course...just don't go too heavy on the liner, so it still looks fairly natural.I need a good tip for wearing bold yet enchantingly beautiful eye make up. it needs to bold yet natural look?

I recommend Loreal blush because the colors are really blendable and matches the skin well. For an eyeshadow try Revlon quad eyeshadow instead. The colors are highly pigmented and blends evenly.Almay eye make up?

you could try a smoky eye.
they look great, but to make it dramatic, say your dress was pink, you could use a light pink near he bottom-ish and a darker pink at the top and blend with your finger.
make sure its a light to dark color, blend, use primer if you'd like, and BE SURE IT MATCHES YOUR OUTFIT.

Questions about creasy eye make-up!?!?
every single time i wear eyeshadow, it creases up.
what can i do? should i or should i not put moisturizer on my eyelid?
anything i can do without buying something new?
please help, it gets all dark and chunky and looks gross.Questions about creasy eye make-up!?!?
don't wear it maybe??
try eyeliner.Questions about creasy eye make-up!?!?
DON'T PUT MOITURIZER ON YOUR EYELID! it creates oil that makes the shadow crease up. one thing that really helps is eye primer. you can get it at stores like sephora or ulta
actually benifite has special eyeshadow for people with alot of creases in their eyes you should try it out.....hope it helps!!
That happens to me too. You should ask the makeup specialists in the nordstrom beauty section.
put powder on your lids before, and i know you said you don't want to buy anything new, but MAC pigments is a really good investment that will last you like forever.
I dont put any moisturizer on your eyelids it'll cause make then grease up, crease, and then start to chunk. When you wash your face dry is completely and put moisturizer on your face but avoid your eye lids. Apply the make up and it should look fine. I recomend you use eye shadow from the NYC its a good company you can find it at your local store. Its affordable and works terrific! Check it out here's a link:
http://www.newyorkcolor.com/products/ind鈥?/a>
Hope it helps!
Don't put moisturizer on your lid ... it can melt into your eye and irritate it. Add a layer of pressed or translucent powder before your shadow. If that doesn't work ... you may need a primer like this MAC one http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a> or Urban Decay Potion Primer. Try a longer wearing brand too, like MAC or Revlon ColorStay.
Don't put moisturiser on your eyelids - that will make your makeup crease even more. I suggest dabbing foundation lightly on your lids before applying the eyeshadow. maybe try some different brands as well
It depends on the type your using, if its a cream it WILL crease, if its cheap it will crease, you need a good base try urban decay primer potion its AMAZING it will make the cheapest dullest shadows bright %26amp; give it staying power to last all day!
Hmm you could try vasoline, it usually crease for me though, try getting a white eyeliner %26amp; covering your eyes in it before you apply shadow
A last resort; if your shadow is a solid scrape some off the top wet your brush a bit %26amp; take what you scraped off %26amp; put it on your brush 70%shadow 30%water depending on your preference ratio.
Ok.. Number 1, just putin moisturizer on your eyelids is SOOO BAD FOR THEM. it makes them puffy.. if you want a moisturizer for your eyelid then you must use one that is designated for the eyelid..
number 2, there are things called eye primers that you put on before your eyeshaddow.. it's like foundation, but for your eye. it makes your eyeshaddow crease resistant and last a lot longer throughout the day
number 3, using a cream eyeshaddow will ALWAYS crease. hate those things... use poweders.
number 4.. try using actual brushes.. instead of those stupid little applicators that they put in the compact. they give a less ';cakey'; application
Good luck girl!!
oh and ';Urban Decay'; had a great eye primer.. you can find it at http://www.sephora.com
Put foundation on your eyelids before you apply your eyeshadow it helps keep it in place.
Hope I helped!!
try using substitutes for the eye makeup, like, sparkles, basicly i don't know what to tell you, you buy new stuff or 4get it
If you use foundation use that lightly on the eyelids, then pressed powder, whether it be from a compact or a brush from loose powder. The powder will have your eyeshadow stay on longer and not look clumpy. It also depends on the kind of shadow you use. Try using mate eye shadows, not the loose shadows. Best of luck.
Been there done that. I would put you cream on about 30 mins before you are going to put your makeup on. Then once your cream is dry put your eye shadow on. It worked for me.
Do you use liquid eye shadow? That could be the problem, use a light powder eyeshadow, and don't put moisturizer on you're eyelids, this could cause them to be greasy or moist all day, causing the shadow to mix with the moisturizer and get all creasy and chunky. Make sure to wash your make-up off every night, so resisdue from yesterdays make-up doesn't interfere with todays make up....Good Luck =)
I totally understand. I get that all the time. Sometimes putting foundation on your eyelid before applying the eyeshadow helps even out and fill in your natural eyes creases
hope i helped:]]
Put concealor or foundation on your eyelid first then Put translucent powder over it (I'm assuming you have all these).
In the future when you have money to buy new product, invest in Urban Decay Primer Potion, it makes shadows last forever! Also invest in higher end shadows, which are more highly pigmented so they last longer and are more vibrant. Apply with a good quality shadow brush, not a sponge tip applicator.
Start with clean skin. Use an oil-free moisturizer made from the eyes. Use an eye shadow which states that it is crease-proof and water-resistant. I have found that L'oreal makes a great eyeshadow base for a great price. If you want to spend more, try Urban Decay or Lancome. The purpose of an eyeshadow base is to hold your eye makeup in place. It is made from longer-wearing ingredients than your basic facial foundation. If you choose not to use an eyeshadow base, try Clinique Touch Base for eyes in a flesh-toned shade and then layer or favorite colors on top. Another option is to try Mac Paints in Untitled or Bare Canvas. I find that my shadow stays on all day when I wear those. I like Fast Response Eye Cream from Mac. That helps the shadow to not look so choppy.
find some that is sticky so it stays in place.
YOU COULD WEAR CONCEALER BEFORE YOUR EYESHADOW IT MAKES IT STAY IN PLACE LONGER
then you probably shouldn't use the moisturizer. Try concealer there, under your foundation then top off with powder. Makeup tends to crease when it meets moisturizer. If you must moisturize even though you don't want to, try a light energy or natural moisturizer. I don't know if they still sell it, but a good one is jane light energy moisturzer otherwise try dove facial products(my secret is the towlettes for sensitive skin to remove my make up). If your using a cream to powder of glide on, try powder compacts instead. And maybe use less.
Hope this helps!! :)

What kind of eye make up should i wear?
i have red alburn hair blue eyes and fair skinWhat kind of eye make up should i wear?
Nothing too dark, it'll make you look washed out. Purples often look very good on redheads. Browns make blue eyes stand out. Really just experiment with what looks good on you. Good Luck.

Eye make up...blue eyes...?
i reli want to impress this boi that im meetin up with today. i dont usually wear makeup....but, today i will! :)
any suggestions for blue-grey eyes...i'd prefer sort of subtle colours...like white or brown...i have tons of eyeshadow to use, but i just never wear it. what colours could i blend? and what wld go with my eye colour?
thanks
xEye make up...blue eyes...?
Blue eyes look best with browns, golds, and pinks.
If you like browns, use a light brown or gold on your lid, then put a darker brown just on the contours and right behind your lid. This will create depth.
If you want to be brighter, use a peach or pink.
I even like to mix and match. I like to put pink on my lid and brown on the contours, or the other way around.
Take all of your golds, browns, pinks, and peach eye shadows and see what looks best!
Have fun! :DEye make up...blue eyes...?
if you have blue gray eyes then you could probably mix and match various shades of blue along with light sliver. make sure that you use lighter color tones else you will make the whole thing too over the top. use lighter shades towards the upper eyelid and darker near the lower portion of the eyelid. blend various colors together and add a bit of silver eye shadow too. you could even use a hint of purple but that will look a bit dramatic. make sure that you use black eyeliner and mascara.
Its summer - so soft colours of a pastel nature.
Pinky browns, golds, mauves, (white is too harsh against tanned skin by the way so be careful of that, use it to highlight under the brow only at this time of year). Some baby soft ice cream pastel pinks are okay when used sparingly.
As its summer use brown mascara not black which is more a winter colour.
If you are going to put colour under the eye - make it lighter than the wintry dark kohl pencil look.
pastel pale lipsticks. If you are going to use brighter fuschia pinks be careful what colour you have around your eyes.
Have a lovely time!!
its not just your eye colour you have to think about its our skin tone and your hair colour, like ive got blue eyes but i sometimes wear browns and whites,
I also think that wearing make up to impress a boy when you usually dont wear it wont impress him, most guys prefare girls who are natural and themselves, you dnt need make up for that,if he sees you with make up now you will always feel you will have to wear it when he is around,
hope that helps

The reason the smokey eye thing comes up so much is because it is really in style right now and guys LOVE IT
if you want to play up your eyes stay with soft colors because dark colors never favor light eyes. colors that make blue eyes look bluer include: lavender, peachy/orange colors, medium brown,or gray/silver.
when it comes to eyeliner and mascara use black, but just do a soft line.
mascara is key to making your eyes seem awake so apply it well! :)
I think you should go for pinks, oranges and peaches, sort of colours,

Yes. if you live in the san jose area go to Victoria's dance and costume store on San Carlos near Bascom they sell this brand called Ben Nye that usually is used for theatrical make-up. They're pretty cheap and come in like pallettes too (Cheaper than Mac) so they last long and since the colors are so vibrant you'll have fun also! Hope this helps. If not there's a wesite called Kryolan.com that has cool colors. Remember to BLEND, BLEND, BLEND!

Hm, I say light eyeliner, not TOO dark, a little mascara, you can try CoverGirl LashBlast, it's AMAZING. I use that or Maybelline Define-A-Lash, volume or lengthening, whichever you prefer, but it seems like you need more volume than length.
For eyeshadow, I say maybe the neutral colors like brown. =)
Add a little pink blush and lipgloss if you'd like, too. =)
Mascara and liner winged out a tiny bit. Your very pretty and have beautiful cheekbones. Blush would look nice on you. Pinkish color.
ur pretty without
but id suggest brown mascara and a little bit of brown eyeliner on on ur top lid. and maybe a peachy blush.
I think you look beautiful the way you are, but if u wanted to add a little something, I'd go with some brown eyeliner.
eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow
mascara, and a thin layer of eyeliner.
Cover up %26amp; lots of it.

'Wet/oily' black eye make-up?
Can anyone tell me any products that will give the effect of oily looking black smokey eyes?
I don't mean matte, shimmery, glittery or sparkly, the look i am after and have seen makes the eyes look like they are wet and almost oily.
Or is there a certain way of applying make-up to give it this look? I have seen it in a few magazines and really want to recreate it but i'm not sure what products would achieve this!'Wet/oily' black eye make-up?

go to youtube and type in eyeshadow or eye makeup they have instructional videos on how to do the greatest things. They show you step by step and explain everything and you don't have to use EXACTLY what they have. I'm a makeup artist and I don't own anything MAC :gasp!: guess what? It's not the best makeup in the world. You have to find what is right for your individual style. I love bright bold colors and you can buy eyeshadow primers from any drugstore. good luck! and happy coloring!
You should try going to this link.
It has tonnes of different eyeshadows e.t.c plus it shows you how they look when applied wet or dry, you can also order samples for $1.50 (75p) each and they deliver to the UK, free delivery over $25, i got my delivery this morning!
Go to the Bee-Luscious web-site they have some close up pictures of how the eye shadows and mascaras are supposed to look. So you can get an idea of how to put it on. None of the pictures are dramatic, they are all have a very sophisticated look. Just google them.

A question about eye make up?
i really like the way the eyes look, but i dont know how to do this. does someone know how the eye make up in the picture was applied? step by step?
http://www.flickr.com/photos/32302117@N04/3482302644/A question about eye make up?
My sister looks a lot like Mika Nakashima.
She does her make up the same, kind of, also.
Apply a neutral eyeshadow.
Line eyes all the way around, start thinly from inner
corners and thicker towards the outside.
Do the same mascara. Pull the lashes toward the outside
to make the outer edges appear thick.
That's as simple as I can say it.A question about eye make up?
Start by applying a light neutral color over the entire lid and up to the brow. I add white shadow on the inner corner of the lid. Apply a darker shade on the eye lid in a downward sweeping motion. Then I use a black shadow and make a v shape on the outer corner of the eye. Begin on the crease and stop on the bottom of the lid. Use your eye liner( I prefer MAC's eyeliner pen) and line the entire bottom lid and top lid. Line the inner corner of your eye too and make a little point if you can. Finish it off with mascara and bam! You've got it. Haha
i was expecting something more dramatic lol
this is easy just apply a nude color shadow that matches ur tone and apply a thick line of liquid eyeliner and apply eyeliner on your water line and under your lash line that's about it if you want you can add black black eyeshadow under your lashes so it smudges it more...
hope this helped and made sense
you cant really explain makeup applying.
you'll need liquid eyeliner, regualr pencil, and black eyeshadow possibly with a thin applying brush to touch up on sides and things.
It looks like she did the following:
Lined her whole eye with black eleliner.
Put on Heavy mascara.
And it eve looks like she may have a bit of sheer color on the lid.
I hope I helped. :)hair clips

this is easy just apply a nude color shadow that matches ur tone and apply a thick line of liquid eyeliner and apply eyeliner on your water line and under your lash line that's about it if you want you can add black black eyeshadow under your lashes so it smudges it more...
hope this helped and made sense
you cant really explain makeup applying.
you'll need liquid eyeliner, regualr pencil, and black eyeshadow possibly with a thin applying brush to touch up on sides and things.
It looks like she did the following:
Lined her whole eye with black eleliner.
Put on Heavy mascara.
And it eve looks like she may have a bit of sheer color on the lid.
I hope I helped. :)
Everytime I apply eye make up it always itches me :( why? even MAC make up !?
plz replyEverytime I apply eye make up it always itches me :( why? even MAC make up !?
You're probably allergic to the chemicals in them, try using all natural make-up like Burt's Bee or Dr. Haushcka.Everytime I apply eye make up it always itches me :( why? even MAC make up !?
sounds like you have a mild case of an allergy.
Try mineral stuff, maybe that would work?
Remember, skin near the eye area is most sensitive.
you could be allergic to its ingredients. Even some people I know that say they are using hypoallergic even have reactions to some. You will probably have to keep searching the different kinds of eye make-up. I know I have tried alot of other hypo allengic mascara but I only seem to get to use one kind that doesn't make my eyes water.. Almay You may have other experiences.. Just keep trying took me awhile to find which one worked for my unless your getting really bad out breaks talk to your doc...
There may be an ingredient in the eye makeup you are allergic to. Try not using it all for awhile and maybe later try different brands such as any mineral makeup. Take care.
Mine do the same thing.. or water and tear and sting... I can't wear eye makeup AT ALL. I never was too big into makeup anyhow, but when I realized it wasn't the brand of makeup, it was some sort of allergic reaction, I stopped wearing makeup altogether. Hope all turns out alright!
You probably have very sensitive skin, as do I. First- stop using MAC- I don't like it, it makes me break out! Try using something like Bare Essentuals, it's natural and made from minerals- it's clean and easy on your skin.
probably alergic
Well if it itches you after you finish puting the eye make up on, that might mean your allergetic to that make up, because i dont realy put any kinds of make ups on my face just one in a while and that used to happen to me but you might have natural beauty, so you might not need any eye make u, nor face make up..................
You might be allergic to something in the products.
this happened to me in eye there is certain chemical that many people are allergic to your best bet is to look for organic makeup!
More than likely you are drawn to colors with a pink or purple hue to them, right?
The pigments used to make these colors are usually the ones that cause a reaction no matter how ';natural'; the brand of cosmetics is. Try using neutral colors intead. Another culprit could be the mica (which is a mineral) that is used to give a ';frosty'; appearance, so also choose a matte color.
I hope this helps.
PS: Also make sure your make-up brushes and hands are clean and any loose eyeshadow is off the brush before applying to avoid getting the make-up IN your eyes.
yeah, you might have an eye infection. has someone esle used your makeup? maybe you should buy a new eyeliner etc and see if it causes the same problem :-)

Better with a lot of eye make-up or not a lot?
In your opinion do I look better with more eye make up or less?
I'm kinda bored. Wondering what you think?
Personally, I only like to wear eye liner once in awhile...

Either way, I think is minimal and could be used as a day look. You always want to go darker for evening wear, proms, dates, etc..
The darker enhances your eyes.Better with a lot of eye make-up or not a lot?
i like the eyeliner the most. but maybe it's because i cant really see the eye shadow in the eye shadow picture.
mine?

i like it with no eye liner...if you do, do it brown...just not black cuz since u have blonde hair, its too over dominating and doesnt look natural...and the whole point of makeup is to make u look pretty and realistic
i really like the eye liner one.

it just depends what look you're going for
w/o eyeliner is definitely more natural for school or daytime but i would go with eyeliner for night
the eyeliner is rlly cute, maybe smudged a little bit..
and then if u want u can wear just a little of mascara 2 make ur lashes look longer
BOOBIES
With it on, but like somebody said, only on the top. but you're gorgeous both ways!!!

Eye Make Up?
What color eye liner and eye shadow sould suit green eyes? I have pale skin, dark brown hair and i'm useless when it comes to make up.Eye Make Up?
Grey eye shadow is gorgeous on green eyes. Give it a tryEye Make Up?
i think a nice brown. make the most of your beautiful green eyes and mysterious dark hair, by doing the sultry look.
warm colours look great on green eyes, like golds browns some light pinks and greens, use black eye liner or a smokey grey or brown, these will all suit your eyes and skin tone.
Choose light shades, cream base will be nice. Shiny ones will look great.
It would be best to go to a department store. Try the MAC counter first; they are trained (somewhat) and should be able to help you.
try purple..
maybe a shimmery lavender for the day with black mascara
and a darker for the night for a sultry look with eyeliner (black or dark purple) and black mascara..
experiment!!! you'll know what works
i always do my make-up when ii'm bored and i love iit!! haha
I agree very very much with RANA E... I myself have green eyes, rather light skin, and I have been both a brunette in life and a redhead. I know what you need - and GREY is the most beautiful thing, seriously. Or get the sooty eyeshadow that like an intense black - I know it sounds like rubbish, but put some on, or dark grey and your eyes look absolutely stunning. I tried. I swear, you will look like your eyes are made of poison - they will be so strong and green. Also, leaf-green, beige and rouge works for your eyes. Yes, the regular rouge powder you can put on your cheeks, also gives a natural tinge to your eyelids.

Beautiful eye make up...need help?
im going to a party and my dress is a burnt pink and my acesories are silver...white kind of eye make up...and eyeshadow should i use??
i apreciate all answersBeautiful eye make up...need help?
Well what color are your eyes?
If you have brown eyes, go with a silver color with your outfit.
If your eyes are blue, i would suggest a kind of coppery color, to bring out your eyes, and if you want to add a pink tint for your dress, you can.
Green eyes, lightly apply pink eyeshadow, so your eyes can still pop.
Just make sure you know that eyeshadow is for making your eyes pop. and be very careful on matching it with your outfit!
Good luck:)Beautiful eye make up...need help?
it should look nice if you cover your eye lid with white, then in the crease in the middle of your lid, use a silver or pink and do a line where it is.. its hard to explain
the pic at the top of this page...
http://geniusbeauty.com/make-up/eye-makeup-for-different-eye-shapes/
but kind of, the top and bottom colours under and over the pink are the same colour... grr its so hard to explain but it looks really good when you can get thehang of it...
Use a shimmery light pink all over eye socketa deeper shade of pink lightly across the top near the brow then a sparkly silver going from end of eyelashes diagonaly up to top of end of brow its a lovely party look.
