Small(ish) Eyes-Need Eye Make-up Ideas?

My eyes are not the biggest eyes out there, and when i smile, they squint even more. I usually just wear eyeliner and mascara but I am looking for ideas on some new stuff to play around with--to open up my eyes and to just look good. My eyes are hazel with more of a green tint and an orange ring around my pupil. So any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!Small(ish) Eyes-Need Eye Make-up Ideas?
You will want to put a pale neutral coloured eye shadow on your whole eyelid, all the way from your eyelashes to your eyebrows. Light colours like this will brighten your eye as opposed to dark colours that will make them look even smaller, which you certainly don't want.


The next step is to apply the darker coloured eye shadow to the outer corner of your eyelid and to the crease. Like a sideways 'v' %26lt; Blend it well in. Using a little of white or


champagne colored eye shadow, put it under your brow bone and blend it well. Put a little more on the center of your eye lid and your eyes will look brighter.


Then to line your eyes. Use dark eyeliner and line your upper eyelash line and make the line pass the outer corner of your eye. When you line your lower lash line, make sure you make a lighter line and smudge it only about three quarters the way along (not all the way along),


You can also use a white eyeliner on the inner rims of your eyes. This will help to brighten them which then will then make them appear larger.

just mosterize your face, no foundation


apply two layers of mascara to double the look of your eyes


a medium brownish color on your eye lids, a darker brown right above that, and a pink, bronze, or white on the very top next to the eyebrows will give you the look your looking for.


Wearing lipstick will enfisize your lips and draw attention away from your eyes so try not to use lip gloss or lipstick while your trying to enfisize your eyes.
So I know there are a bunch of people all claiming they know the solution, but trust me, if you are gonna do 1 of these try mine!





I have small eyes and with the wrong makeup I look Asian... the following technique has taken me years to perfect:





1. Curl your eyelashes


2. Apply 2 coats of your favorite mascara.


3. Line the inside of the top lid only (right below your eyelashes) with black eyeliner.


4. Dot a little highlighter in the inner corners.





I also like to use a little clear eye gloss on the lid.





If you want to wear eyeliner all over your eye, it has to be really thick and smudged into a smokey look.





And avoid eyeshadow. It will almost always make your eyes look smaller.
i have the same problem as you and the samee eyes. soo what i do is use black eyeliner on the bottom and top.. and when i do the top eyeliner i kinda drag out the line at the end a little more.. and then i take black/brown eyeshadow and put it really close to your eyelashes because it makes them pop . then you put a lighter purple or pink right above that.. and inbtween your eyes if you put white there it makes your eyes stand out a lot and draws attention to them.. and if you buy black glitter eyeliner.. it makes the under of your eyes sparkle . if you do this it applys a smokey look to your eyes %26amp; would look amazing with your eyecolor %26amp; pop out a lot
put eyeliner on outer corners, instead of inner corners. on the inner corner it make eyes look smaller. same w/ mascara. also, there are some special, innexpensive powders that you can put on the inner corners that are meant to make you look more awake. sorry i can't give specifics, but i don't own any, my friend has some.
The number one rule out there is to not wear eyeliner under your eyes because it will make them look smaller so don't do that...lol I think you should try using white eye liner under your eyes, that should make them appear bigger. And since you have Hazel eyes, some nice pretty gold eyeshadow can bring them out.

oh you're just like me! I read the most amazing tip in allure magazine. Get a shimmery silvery colored eyeshadow. Apply a little at the inner corners of the eyes and then on your eyelids above the pupil. You'll be amazed at these results.
cool! i have the same colored eyes!!! for me, wear light purple, or gold colored eyeshadows!!! then use some gold shimmer in the inner corner!! also, use plum or brown mascara, it really makes them POP!!!
Eyeliner is probably not the best idea if you have small eyes.
