Smokey eye make-up...Help!?

I have blonde hair, white skin and blue eyes and I want a smokey eyemakeup look.

I find black is a little bit too harsh when I wear it so I want to try something different.

Any ideas?

Thanks =)xSmokey eye make-up...Help!?
My favorite thing is to do a thick line of brown metallic pencil. Goes good with blue eyes.Smokey eye make-up...Help!?
a brown eye pencil or a bluish grey would work well with your hair and eye color ... fill in the spaces between your lower lashes and draw a line above your upper lashes and then take a cotton swab and blur the lines so they arent so straight.... use a little white eyeshadow in the inner corners of your eyes so you dont end up looking like you have small eyes.... apply 3 coats of mascara to top and bottom lashes.... apply white eyeshadow to your brow bone below your eyebrows
i use bronze liner, and coppery, shimmery brown tones to compliment my blue eyes, red hair %26amp;fair skin. the smoky eye looks even better that way. i agree, black is too harsh on me also.
its properly best to use browns instead, or even grey or purple.

to do ur smokey eye:1. Use a light (skin toned) colour all over the eye- lashes to brow.

2. Use a black eyeliner and use just above the lashes- doesn鈥檛 matter too much if it鈥榮 a bit messy.

3. Use a cotton bud with a dark eyeshadow on it and go over the eyeliner- making it smudgy.

4. Line under the bottom lashes with a pencil eyeliner and smudge using a clean cotton bud.

5. Use a middle toned eyeshadow (an in-between colour of the ones using) and go over the lid of your eye and just up to the brow bone or just above the crease- which ever you like better.

6. Blend or smudge the middle colour upwards into the lighter colour- just the top edge of the middle colour so you still have colour on your lid.

7. Use mascara- and don鈥檛 forget eyelash curler first- apply mascara to the bottom aswell-if you want.
my best friend is very conservative when it comes to make-up and i'm usually the one doing it when she goes out. her fave look is indeed a smokey one, which works great with her blonde hair.

1. apply your concealer and blusher as usual and chuck your eye liners.

2. start off by applying off-white/light cream eyeshadow (preferably with a shimmer) over the entire eye lid.

3. use a soft brush and fill up with light grey from your lashes up to the crease of your lid.

4. use a darker grey to darken only the crease of your lid. now, use a darker grey (as dark as you prefer, but not black) and use it as eye liner underneath your eye as well as just above your lashes.

5. make sure all the colours blend nicely and end off by brushing off excess powder with a large brush.

6. applying mascara.

hope you like and sorry i didn't have a pic.
