Eye make up question?

the color tone of my upper eyelids are darker than the skin tone of my face. With the magic of makeup, what can i use? i've tried Christian Dior concealer, but it's too dry...help!!!Eye make up question?
Stila makes a great under eye concleaer, but I also use it as a base for my eyeshadow on my lids (I have the same problem you do). It works great. Not to mention it's a miracle in a glass bottle for nights when you don't get your beauty sleep.

It's about $16 for a small little glass bottle, but it's such a high quality product, you don't need to use a whole lot for each application. One lasted me almost a full year, and I wear make-up 5-6 times per week. It's available at Sephora stores, or sephora.com.

Happy shopping!Eye make up question?
I like Physician's Formula. They have products to conceal and or correct all sorts of complexion problems. I like it better than the expensive stuff from Macy's or Dillard's and you can get it at Walgreen's.
I recommend Quo concealers, they do wonders to hide blemishes...Im sure they can also cover up dark areas around your eyes. The key is to match the concealer with your skin tone using natural light (go near a window to see how it covers).

Also try wear a nude eye shadow before you apply any eye makeup, that might help also!
try liquid foundation
Lancombe* concealer with Mac powder is the key
So what's the problem? Most of us would love to have your coloring. That's why we wear eyeshadow.
You Can Use Some Eye Shadow..There Are Alot Of Different Colors
I love Laura Geller's Eye Spackle. Available on QVC (item A35630).
there are face loations that have concealer in them and it will match the rest of your face if you put it on your face and your eyelids.

plus the loation/concealer with help keep your eyeshadow on your eyes too.
just use really light eyeshadow. make sure you put it in the crease casue that usually the darkest part
I have the same problem! I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation as concealer. I apply with a foundation brush. It covers completely but isn't heavy and doesn't crease like concealer sometimes will. Eyeshadow goes right on and stays all day. Or on days when I don't do shadow, it covers the discoloration so well that I don't have worry about it.
you should try Bare Essentuals, Bare Minerals, it looks like powder but isn't. it's lightweight and lookes natural!
Just use a light eye shadow, like off white ot tan. Your skin tone will show through it a bit so go lighter than the desired outcome...

You may want to consider a GOOD eye cream. Vitamin K and Vitamin C eye creams will help eliminate the dark tone problem. You can also try using a tad bit of preparation H on and around your eyes at night. This eliminates puffy swelling that causes discoloration...

If you need the names of good eye cream, I buy mine from Fremont Plastic Surgery Center in Fremont, CA.
Don't use conceler because it can make you look funny.... put on your regular foundation and apply eyeshadow or whatever you like afterwards....
Hunt down a Mary Kay representative and she can help you with everything from skin care to makeup.
use foundation on your eyelids.
try benefit lemon-aid...its meant specifically to neutralise shadows, redness or anything on the eyelids, and works as a great primer for eyeshadow. you can get it at sephora or sephora.com
oh 4 make up use MAC!! i love it 4 my eyeshadows!!
Go to your local store, find a good sales assistant who will help you finding the right one. Try as many formulations in different brands as you can before you buy .
bare minerals. it covers all the problem spots, but it looks natural. i love it!! use it!!!
i find using two different colors of foundation really good. use the lighter one on you eyes and nose and the darker one on the rest of your face. them use thesame color powder all over. Make sure ther is only 1-2 shades difference between the two foundations and itll give the illusion of a perfect complexion
